Welcome to Mulberry Class Page
We have had a busy first few weeks in Mulberry Class and the children have settled in brilliantly. We have lots of exciting learning opportunities to look forward to this term.
In English, the children have written playscripts based on a short animation, La Luna. Next, we will be reading The Iron Man by Ted Hughes, leading up to some descriptive writing and a newspaper report.
In Maths, we continue to challenge ourselves: we are learning how to round numbers to the nearest 10, 100 and 1000, as well as working to increase our fluency in the four operations
Our Area of Study this term is Ancient Greece: the children enjoyed a lively lesson finding out what it would have been like in an Athenian marketplace.
In P.E., we are honing our football skills, as well as developing teamwork and communication through a range of fun, indoor activities.
