As well as supporting schools and pupils where there are medical conditions, the school nursing service can support children, young people and families with advice on a number of health needs including bed wetting, healthy eating, sleep and emotional well being.

 

School Nurse Drop In Sessions

 

Charlie Pratten is the named school nurse for our school and will be holding a confidential drop-in session at school.

Topics covered include-

  • Night time wetting
  • Behavioural issues including anxiety, anger tantrums and routines
  • Sleep including routines, strategies and support
  • Eating issues including fussy eaters
  • Healthy lifestyle choices
  • Support with medical needs
  • Any other concerns you may have.

Please be advised this is not in place of a GP clinic and is not to discuss any acute medical conditions where your child is immediately unwell.

Charlie welcomes all parents and carers to attend, no appointment necessary. If you are unable to attend but would like a telephone consultation, please call the Richmond School Nursing team on 03300581679.
