Sequoia children have returned, refreshed, determined and eager to make the most of what will prove to be an exciting Spring Term.
To try and help us banish those January blues, we have begun yoga in PE, which will help with our flexibility, breathing and strength. Outside, we will brave the cold weather to continue netball.
In English, being concerned about our teacher's well being, we have drawn and written about a 'Teacher Pleaser': a fictional machine designed to improve teachers' moods. After we have completed this unit, we will begin Shakleton's Journey by William Grill.
In Geography, we will consider the impact that people have had on our environment, before focusing on how London and more locally Hampton, has changed over the years. In the second half of the term, we will undertake a trip to Lavendar Hill Magistrates Court. Here, Sequoia will partake in a mock trial and will also get to visit the cells!
As you will agree, a varied and exciting curriculum.
