Welcome to Reception

WELCOME TO RECEPTION CLASSES AT BUCKINGHAM PRIMARY SCHOOL

We are delighted welcome new pupils joining our Reception Classes.

As you are aware, the last few months have been a very challenging time for schools with some year groups having returned but working in small groups with adults in school. We are busy making plans for September as the Government has expressed its intention that all pupils will return on a full time basis.

The induction opportunities for our pupils will be somewhat different but we hope you and your child will still be excited and confident at the prospect of joining our school.

There are many good books available to familiarise your child with starting school. We recommend the following to help your child become ‘school ready’ :
